Single-pole breakers are used for standard 120V or 230V circuits, while double-pole breakers are used for 240V or split-phase circuits. RCCBs may also be installed for additional protection against earth faults . 3. Connect the Main Supply: Run the incoming supply cable to the main MCB. Connect the phase (live) wire to the input terminal of the main MCB, the neutral wire to the neutral bar, and the earth wire to the earth bar.
