  • Duplex Clip: Holds two simplex connectors together for a duplex pair.
  • Polish Types: UPC (flat polish, blue) and APC (angled polish, green) for different return loss requirements . Duplex LC connectors are widely used in Ethernet, telecom, and data center networks, supporting both single-mode and multimode fibers . Single-mode fibers are ideal for long-distance, high-bandwidth applications, while multimode fibers are cost-effective for short-range connections within buildings or campuses .

Polarity and Signal Alignment

Correct polarity is critical in dual optical configurations to ensure that the Tx port of one device connects to the Rx port of the other . Misalignment can cause data errors or network failure.
